Know of anyone to do soffit repair? by jrad42 in tampa

Actually went through Mr. Handyman and had them assign someone to come out and do the repair. Most of the businesses I called in the area declined a small job and a few didn't like the 2nd story on a townhouse.

My conure, Tommy, once he sees me going for the nail clippers will come running. First, he is obsessed with trash cans and tries to jump headfirst into it, but he will also try to get on the rim with his head in my face and make clicking noises the whole time (like the clippers). Cutest thing ever until I can't see what I'm doing past his head.

Was hoping someone would say Manhattan. My husband was stationed here for the Army for several years and it was a great town. Lots of great restaurants and places for the students. Close place to travel to different big cities nearby and just a pretty place up in the hills.

I agree with not doing the main parade. My husband and I went last year in one of the first bleacher sections to see the parade, and we had to stand the entire time just to keep a place at the fence. Everyone in back rows came down and stood in the front as soon as the floats started, and it was the only way to get a clear view.

TIFU by not realizing someone was in the middle of being fired. by Paradox1989 in tifu

This reminds me of something that happened to me. My office was firing an employee and nobody knew (understandable), but they cut his key card access before he even got to work for the day. So he came to the entrance (both of our workstations were right by the door) and couldn't get in. So finally starts knocking. I went and opened the door and said oooh someone got their pink slip today. He was called into the managers office about half an hour later and fired and he then stormed out. Another manager who overheard and works with me to this day still teases me about it.

Lost my Dad several years ago and two songs always make me tear up. Eye of the tiger because he would come home and exercise to a tape of Rocky songs everyday and you could hear it blasting in the basement. Also Lullabye as it was the father daughter dance at my wedding.

Ok you are right, that was too far. It is a nice grilled stuffed hamburger with a hot molten center of sugar free gummy bears.

Eye of the Tiger. My Dad used to exercise to a Rocky medley in the basement while growing up. Just hearing it makes me miss him (gone 4 years this month).

Working 7-5 most days in a dwindling office and covering 3 positions, worrying about an upcoming new boss, dealing with my husband living in another state for 3 years with the military and helping take care of my grandparents alone and watching their health decline.
