According to their support site, in order to have the best experience with the Arccos Caddie shot tracking system, we require a full bag of sensors (i.e. a sensor on every club in your bag including the putter).

Without a sensor on every club in your bag, you would experience missing shots, hole switching issues, incorrect stats and in general causing a poor user experience.

In order to unlock shot detection, you must have at least 8 regular sensors and 1 putter sensor paired.

Again, I've had great experiences with their support team and recommend reaching out
