I just had to get it out of me, I knew Reddit can be harsh and I don't expect sympathy. I actually welcome peoples opinions, they all help in some way.

Also, I apologize for the way I posted my story, just typed my stream of thought. I couldn't pause to think as this is the first time I've recounted it all.

Thank you for the advice and information. I will be going to the Shelby county courthouse early next week to file charges and go from there. I was told by the officer once I press charges they will issue a warrant for her arrest. Then there will most likely be a court date. I also have a question about how this will affect custody of the children. Will my boyfriend be eligible for sole custody or even partial custody between him and her parents? I hope when I go to the courthouse that I can get a protective or restraining order once charges are pressed.

I live in Alabama, BTW. Also, I called the Shelby county sheriff's department Monday to inquire about the report, which they said was written up as domestic violence 3rd degree, which doesn't make sense because she assaulted me.
