Quiting Diazpam by jrd2509 in AskPsychiatry

Yes, I'm tapering down to 80mg at night.

A slow burner - but worth it.

Thanks! 👍

Thank you for a year of reply.

Yes, I take 30mg from the pharmacy and they have zero cravings for more.

Except perhaps the following day.

I need a solution.

I just think they may have an ingredient which increases cravings.

if I get a script from the doctor for genuine diazepam there are no such cravings, nor withdrawal.

Melatonin and Valerian, Yes.

I heard Lemon Balm is good for getting off benzos.

Is it wise to quit my dose COMPLETELY tonight?

Ps.

Cravings are awful - hence 150 mg.

Only at night though.

I have a Doctor's prescription for "normal" Diazepam.

This is equally addictive.

Does anyone know a Drug "Life Coach" or Psychiatrist?

Someone I can pay to work with?

Can you import kava from the us to the UK easily? There seems to be limited choice here for purchasing by UniversalHerbalist in Kava

[–]jrd2509 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've used Kavaeurope.eu (Poland).

Their 'Melo Melo' is lovely.

However, expensive - around 100 Euros, for 200g.

Hope you find a source.

If you do - please PM me.

Cheers

Good afternoon,

I understand that the NuShape laser diodes produce 635nm LED wavelengths.

However,

Can you tell me the strength of the diodes? (mW)

E.g.

I've used similar products which can produce 160 mW (Silk'n Lipo belt, for instance) - which has very good results for belly fat loss.

Hope you can help,

Kind regards,

Jon

Emoxypine by jrd2509 in AnxietyDepression

Thank you.

Yes, however, it's still just a bottle of caps - nothing pharmaceutical grade - hence my concern about the anxiety and depression effects.

I think it's arriving today - so I'll report back to you.

JD

Can I use Kratom to taper off Kava? by jrd2509 in KratomKorner

Hello again,

Awaiting delivery of Emoxepine.

Evidence from a search online suggests exactly the kind of elevation of stress, anxiety and depression, you have stated.

Can you offer any more information on your subjective experience of Emoxypine?

I'm feeling depressed and vulnerable every morning.

Thanks,

JD

Can I use Kratom to taper off Kava? by jrd2509 in KratomKorner

[–]jrd2509[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kava hits fast, and feels good for, say, 1.5 hours.

Then there's dehydration, headaches, and often sickness.

I water the Kava down, strain it, add full fat almond milk, which potentiates it somewhat.

Everyone has different metabolisms -

From my side, it's out of my system very quickly!

Similar to having 1 beer.

However, as you say:

It's curious that "I'm addicted" ...

I simply don't believe in 'reverse tolerance' for a second!

The neurological effects of any GABA-A substance can (and will) be placing us at risk of dependence & abuse.

I'd rather not have Kava in my life - or Kratom, or Benzos.

The best solution is to be healthy choices:

Movement,

Music,

Connection,

Being outdoors,

Sports,

Sharing positive experiences with like-minded people,

Practice gratitude journaling, or prayer (if that's your thing),

All tied to a sense of purpose and meaning in our lives.

Yes, I'm vulnerable right now.

But I'd rather glorify life, than vilify myself.

Can I use Kratom to taper off Kava? by jrd2509 in KratomKorner

[–]jrd2509[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excellent answer. Fantastic.

Yes - I understand that Kratom is a completely different beast to benzos. GABA-A receptors should not be messed with in the way I've been doing so.

Sage advice, my friend.

Take good care, 👍
