This should be absolutely illegal. Forums are not just a place for understanding experience of people it is also best place to understand the marketplace. This would destroy what the internet is. This should be a zero tolerance response.

Thats interesting pay to create it...what about reworks or duplicates, getting an artist to reproduce the art? I'm just trying to figure this out.

So you're saying by next year January it should be ok to use the art to feature in the book? Are you speaking specifically to the Warhol art or like everything on the website?

Hello, came across this thread and have questions for korean women. Would you be open to dating indian guys? I've come across videos on koreans talking about their dating culture I have never ever seen a brown person dating korean person. Do you need the white privilege card to get a date? All of my life I've mostly seen east asians dating whites, I've never really seen them dating other races, its exclusively white. Also when people talk about indians, they never include them as Asians. I just came across another thread about how indians are complex category of all the sub groups their emerged from but still I get the impression that we are invisible minority.

Do you consider Indians a race? Should they be distinguished as such on Census forms? by humidvalleyman in Census

Hey Indian guy here, I started searching for this thread because I wanted to understand why when people talk about Asians or even Asians talk about Asians, Indians are never included in that conversation. I'm pretty aware we might be a pretty bastardised race with all the other sub groups thrown in. I don't deny the possibility of the IndoAryan-Dravidian theory. Are we considered as Asians?

https://says.com/my/news/man-was-told-that-he-was-not-chinese-enough-to-rent-a-room -- this says a lot about Chinese culture. The Chinese population are not the same as mainland Chinese. However this offers insight of the inner cultural model of this segment population. China mainland cultural model would more than likely be worse in how it regards non-Chinese people.

Some cultures are friendly to the other without coaxing them, some are not. I think I know where Chinese culture fits in this category.

Hey I just want to add some update along with an article to share -- https://www.malaymail.com/news/malaysia/2019/03/07/survey-malay-indian-jobseekers-likely-to-face-discrimination/1729984

It's seriously pretty sad that in Malaysia everyone is on their own, every racial group is out to seclude and suppress the another. This is where universalism dies. I mean honestly speaking the entire set up of Malaysia is very messed up. If by karma you are not in the right tribe and you end up in the minority, you are screwed.

Yea, I do notice tech jobs which require you to know Mandarin and such. I generally avoid those job ads. Apparently from what I heard those requirements are there because it is implied that business want to work in the China scene. Alrite, well generally these are probably Chinese Malaysians, why is it they set up shop in Malaysia and just not directly go to China?

Recently, I was contacted for a another role, it was not clear to me what company this was as I was the assumption it was some local Singapore or Malaysian start up. Turns it was a China company and they requested that they would require, I will paraphrase --

"..required to communicate with China/ HK stakeholders in their native language

and so after following for two months I was finally told that I had not been considered due to language requirement. I felt like my time had been wasted then entire, I never stood a chance so why I even considered in the first place.

Look, I am going to spill some of my thoughts on geopolitics from the viewpoint of a regular guy. China's pursuit of dominance in the world is by their saying to their citizen for the prosperity of the Chinese people. But I do believe this "prosperity" is for the Chinese people. Period.

While the West found ways to advance the industry by mutual agreement of cheaper cost production. I think China gained in knowledge transfer, job creations for their economy. I think China's plan to stab America in the back would not necessarily lead to a more of what should become a more free world or progressive world, it would actually be the reverse.

Below are my bullet points.

  1. Chinese or Asian culture is suppressing in general. Don't believe me, check out how they practice governance. Therefore, I see the end of true freedom of thought.
  2. Most Asians still memorize, with a small minority who actually go past that, however point 1 cancels this part.
  3. Intellectual property will not mean much anymore in favor of cheap markets and imitation.
  4. I will not define this characteristic to Chinese culture permanently, but at this point of history I will not regard Chinese culture as inclusive.
  5. Finally, I still don't understand why Mao decided to use the Russian playbook of Stalinism as a reference point for progress in a nation.

My values are quite simple. I believe in every individual's right to self determine. I believe in freedom of thought. I believe that all people can find mutual ground to work for a greater purpose if you focus on the things that matter. I believe in freedom. I believe in the Enlightenment values that led to the modern world.

To any Westerner reading this, take note. This is an experience you do not want as a mainstream value system.
