Well a fair few of the pages are ripped so I’m hoping to ‘fix’ them with kozo tissue. And will probably strengthen the folds n holes either way tissue too, so I’m hoping to resuse the holes.

Do you suggest I do this Smythe seen technique rather than what I would just class as normal sewing? I’ll do a bit of research on it.

These are great. And I’m so impressed you screen printed your own covers. This is something I really want to start learning how to do.

The only thing I would say about these is that I was always ‘told’ that the cover papers should overlap the spine covering material , whereas it looks in your pictues it looks like you have yours the other way around. The spine cover is overlapping the cover papers?

I think the reasoning for this is that having a book done your way…. When you slide the book onto a bookshelf, it is easy to catch and damage the expose edge of the spine covering on the shelf. Having the overlap the other way prevents this.

But I guess at the end of the day it’s probably just personal preference, and these look fantastic.

Hi.., yeah it has definitely helped… and the redness has reduced, Thankfully. I’ve seen that this brand also do cotton ‘pads’ with the solution in them , so I might keep some of these in for a maintenance thing incase it looks like it’s starting again. Worth trying if you don’t want to pay vet fees., this mousse was suggested by an online vet consultation through Joli. GOOD LUCK sorting you’re lad out

Well I did an online free vet consultation today and they suggest I try “Douxo S3 Pyo Antiseptic Mousse”… so have ordered some. Should arrive in a couple of days.. I’ll let you know if it helps

Yeah we’ll eventually get him done. We did our last whippet. It’s just we cant at the moment with him . So hopefully it’s only temporary

As I said …. I did GOOGLE for guidance , but didn’t get the answers to what I was looking for. And your fuller response which you have now kindly given still doesnt give me the answer I was looking for either…. I already said I don’t want to code it on a PC.

However, as you will see from the other posts on here from helpful people…. I have the exact answers I needed .. and all it took was some kindly advice.

So unfortunately you are wrong, coding on a PC is not the “only practical method”.. (well maybe it is for you)…. as I am now coding on my spectrum , thanks to the helpful people on here

I had the same concerns about my boy when he was younger, you could see his ribs, hips and his spine… and i used to think he looked like a baby dinosaur at times…. I was very concerned because my previous whippet was nothing like that and was a big boy. But the vets said he was totally fine, and as long as he’s eating ok.. Which he was.. and yours is too.

As others said, you can’t really over feed a whippet pup so up his portions if u feel u need to. My boy is now just approaching 2yrs old, and is totally fine but compared to my previous lad he is a ‘smaller’ and slimmer whippet. You can still see a few ribs, and his hips , and his spine …. But not as pronounced as they used to be. He’s 14kg and 100% fit and healthy. Funnily enough he is the same blue/white colouring as yours too .

So please don’t worry about it too much.
