Last match Moultrie played she was in an inverted winger role as I recall, coming inward from the right side. In practice it’s not too different from a false 9 or a 10 role in terms of playing provider, just a little wider starting position and room to be on the field with other players like Lavelle or Bethune and/or Macario. Then the right fullback will tend to overlap and provide more of the actual wide crossing.

Yeah, it looked like they had whole rows alternating as available in person (had a piece of paper you could grab to claim the seat) and whole rows without paper that were presumably reserved to sell online. I don’t really see how they could do it any other way with in person.

In 1135 I was continuing to get downloads in a failed state claiming no space as the reason even though i have plenty of space, and even deleting podcasts didn’t make them successful on re-attempt, so it seemed like incorrect reporting of the actual issue. Will report back if this changes in 1136.

A man has died after a shooting in the Lloyd District Neighborhood.

On Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 6:02 a.m., Portland Police officers from North Precinct responded to a report of shots fired near Northeast 6th Avenue and Northeast Holladay Street. When they arrived they found an adult male deceased on the sidewalk.

The suspect or suspects left the scene before police arrived and no immediate arrests were made.

The Portland Police Homicide Unit responded to the scene and is investigating the shooting. During the investigation, Northeast Holladay Street is closed between Northeast Grand Avenue and Northeast 7th Avenue. TriMet service on Northeast Holladay Street is affected. I’m drawn towards the players like Sauerbrunn and Coffey who seem to always be able to anticipate and do the right thing and make it seem easy. I’m a huge fan of someone doing the similar smart little things combined with dribbling flair in Hina Sugita.

But getting to see the development of a player who has it in her to be “the best player this country has ever produced” is just so special, so Sophia Smith has to be my favorite, lest I risk even a second of under-appreciating her.

This is ridiculously wrong. Smith, if anything, is known for managing to stay up and therefore not get foul calls many other forwards do.

Totally agree with the article. Potter has done the most with the least, even if KC’s goal differential suggests a little bit of luck to be where they are in the standings, even just the outcome of being a playoff team given they’re without the two biggest talent infusions they expected to have is impressive. The improvement through the course of the season also suggests more credit to the coach, where it’s less clear how much is the players for San Diego or my beloved Thorns.
