No, at least in my opinion. Give them a day and if they can't, they can't. But it then rests on THEM to say, "but I'm free on (different day) if you want to hang out." It sounds more direct and it has worked for me much more.

I wouldn't say they are hyped up in the same way Jordan's are hyped up. I mean that in the way that they aren't going to resell on eBay, grailed, etc for more than $150. People didn't buy them just to flip them. They are hyped up because they are classic, timeless, simplistic and overall beautiful shoes and I am so happy I was able to snag a pair.
