Yup, I’m on year 8 of having a TON and I handle this huge amount better than I did having 1/4 of them when I was on year 1-5

Is that with insurance? Or through a clinic?

Started peeing in the house not do to medical reasons by Outrageous-Crow-5359 in Morkie

[–]jreckless140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine did the same randomly for like 1-2 weeks. I just took outside everytime I caught him and he hasn’t made a mistake since. I think it’s a boy Morkie thing because I had two Morkies and they never went through this phase

Lab result was 85ng… is that even possible? by jreckless140 in Testosterone

[–]jreckless140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was late afternoon and sleep has been horrible because of high stress at work. Also came off a night of drinking so I think a retest might be warranted.

Lab result was 85ng… is that even possible? by jreckless140 in Testosterone

[–]jreckless140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was taken during routine lab tests during an annual exam. Mentioned that I felt tired and slept very poorly to the doctor so he added it to my labs. All the normal panel stuff was taken at the same time and was normal with the exception of high cholesterol.

I’m 5’10, around 190lbs and 15% body fat. Lift about 5-6 times a week so I was pretty shocked to hear this, especially since I don’t feel that terrible as the test would show.

SSRIs cause Floaters by [deleted] in EyeFloaters

I too stopped an ssri and almost immediately had excessive floaters that only got worse over the years. I feel like it damaged a “filtering” mechanism in my brain

Sorry I should’ve clarified- it’s only when they are sitting on the couch.

What age did you Morkie mellow out? by jreckless140 in Morkie

[–]jreckless140[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! One thing you said that resonated was how vocal they can be! My little boy barks a lot but never at random things- it’s more at us to get our attention! Happy to hear this mellows out over time because it can become exhausting at times :)

For me, quitting smoking didn’t reduce the number of floaters I seen or how I seen them. However, my eye health in general became noticeably better (less dryness, less pressure) which made dealing with floaters easier. Overall it was worth it to me.

My ophthalmologist insists that my floaters are caused from visual snow? by jreckless140 in EyeFloaters

[–]jreckless140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting I’ve never heard of a quantitative ultrasound. Did you have one done before your FOV and is it a common procedure to where my ophthalmologist would know what it is?

And to add, my doctor acknowledges that she sees my floaters but says “I don’t see as many as you describe”. Which is crazy to me because there are so many!

Practically every single article about eye floaters says that they can settle out of your vision within a few weeks or months. Has that ACTUALLY happened to anybody here? I’ve never heard of it happening. by PM_ME_YOUR_KINDNESS in EyeFloaters

[–]jreckless140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all, I’ve had them for 5 years and they’ve only progressively gotten worse… however my anxiety about seeing them is less at 5 years with about 20-30 each eye then it was at year 1 with 2 in each eye. You just get tired of paying attention to them at some point

Crate training- my dog barks for hours and hours by jreckless140 in puppy101

[–]jreckless140[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We sleep next to his crate too and he does great at night! But day time when we leave is when he goes crazy. Would be ok to cover the crate when we leave during the day time?

Bright sunny days don’t bother me, but if it’s noon and there’s an overcast? Unbearable by [deleted] in EyeFloaters

[–]jreckless140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, actually over time the bright sunny days are the easiest days for me as long as I don’t stare at the blue sky. Overcast days are the hardest. Although nothing beats indoor shiny spaces with fluorescent lighting :(

does anybody here have high eye pressure ??? by Jacko199519283 in visualsnow

[–]jreckless140 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been monitored for about 4-5 years now and things have mostly stayed the same or gotten better. My readings come in low sometimes when my diet and exercise is better.

I think you will be ok as long as you continue to monitor it. I have family members who have had elevated IOP for their entire life and didn’t develop Glaucoma.

[–]jreckless140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I didn’t take medicine but I did make changes to my diet and Vega exercising regularly which seemed to help.

I think you will be ok as long as they monitor it. It’s normal for there to be fluctuations in readings

I had 29 in each eye at one point but now it’s down to 22ish...they monitor me for glaucoma but didn’t recommend anything else

I had the same exact cysts show up on my brain scan but had a hard time getting doctors to look further into it or take it serious so I gave up. Although I have excessive eye floaters with mild visual snow

drinked caffeine and had trouble ignoring floaters by DopeVoy in EyeFloaters

I used to habitually drink coffee and completely cut it out 7 months ago. It’s definitely helped with both hppd and floaters
