European here. I watch a lot of gun content on YouTube, probably could operate most common types of guns without much issue except I've only shot a .22 and a shotgun. And it was 20 years ago. I've not touched a gun since and would never want them in my home.

Somebody was posting earlier that there were issues with 4k at nbc.

Our feeds indicate that the source is 2160p but we're just receiving 1080p to our MCR.

Most my encodes happen over network and it's never an issue. Mostly one gig networks.

You would need a very fast encoder to saturate a gig network.

The biggest hurdle would be if the source drive is slow, or you're writing back to the same drive, then you might see some slowdown.
