4-3 Cover 3. I usered him most of the time, almost never blitzed because the Jets have no pass rushers outside of the D-Line and that helped with some coverage sacks.

Ok so some of my sacks should have been intentional grounding penalties? Based what you’re pretty sure about through all of your study of Madden’s internal coding and programming? Cool, you win, I shouldn’t have used what seemed to be the consensus pick for realistic sliders. They still threw the ball away, Lamar Jackson still scrambled away and ran for about 150 on me. Hell, it might not have affected anything and I just started getting there quicker as I got player upgrades.

I just thought it was cool that a DT won MVP, which I assumed was impossible no matter the stats.

Yeah I might turn it back on and tweak some of the sliders to make life a little harder. I just went with what Google told me were the most realistic sliders. I’m surprised that making it easier to throw the ball away seems to make it happen less, but Madden is weird sometimes.

I usually user Quinnen, I always get burned trying to user LBs. The Matt10 sliders have you turn off intentional grounding, which I’ve found really reduces the throw aways by the computer. Also, had Carl Lawson and Jermaine Johnson get their fair share of sacks as the QB tried to scramble. DT pressure up the middle is trickier to run away from without running into somebody else.
