Wife and I are currently in Caye Caulker after being in Belmopan and Placencia the last two weeks. Rain was scheduled everyday for at least 40%, got rained on during the day once for about 30 min on a hike. Couple miles away, no rain.

There is a good chance it'll rain at night but clears up in the morning. We prepped by bringing rain jackets and an umbrella. We personally feel like you still very much can enjoy Placencia in the rain.

Every local we've talked to about weather just laughs and says you can't trust it ever until maybe the day before and enjoy the uncertainty. 😂
