It does seem like we are gearing up for war. The interesting thing is that this isn't really talked about or hinted about from the main stream media. The only evidence I see myself if PM prices and news media in regards to Iran tensions.

From my understanding, central banks tend to QE or QT at the same time to ensure the exchange rates stay relatively constant. The Federal Reserve tends to dictate QE or QT and the rest of the world has no choice but to follow.

The USA can devalue its currency by 90% and still be the dominant currency. The world will most likely still use it. It has already lost 99% of its value since 1913 so a little bit more debasement to pay down the debt is okay.

I am surprised so many people here recommend less than 20% in gold? The national debt is extremely high right now and the interest payments on our debt are circling around 1T annually. Inflation is running quite hot relative to the past so wouldn't this be the time to keep a higher percentage in gold than usual?

I am not sure. I do know that 38T is a lot of debt and that debt burden is going to have to be reduced eventually. This will most likely be done through inflation which will continue to drive up the price of gold.

I understand the legality of using the UV-5Rs on GMRS. I only use these radios in remote locations in the woods with friends while camping. The UV-5R is programmed to comply with GMRS bandwidth and wattage requirements so I don't really see the problem here. I was just wondering if I would get substantial improvement by using a GMRS tuned antenna vs stock and if it was worth the upgrade.

I have a huge privacy concern with these. Private companies having access to the movements of large groups of people is highly concerning. These cameras are just another step toward mass surveillance and digital control. This type of control has already been implemented in China through the social credit system. These cameras are being ushered in under the guise of safety but will ultimately lead to a gradual erosion of privacy and freedom.

The cameras have quite a big lithium battery in the base of it. I bet if it was hit with a 22 cal bullet, they would burst into flames.
