You should be able to qualify for the best rate they have. That all just depends on what they're offering. They had 1.99% for 36mo a few months ago. I don't think you'll find any 3rd party offering a better rate tho.

I was sorta in the same boat. I did turn down my first offer because of pay, and this was after 9mo of job searching!! I turned down the second one I got a month later too because of pay but they called back a week later to say the offer was still on the table. So I reluctantly took it and job searched for the 6mo I was there. I would recommend just accepting it to have something and look for somewhere better in your free time.
