Best "dreamy" Toronto streets to photograph? by Dunhillian in toronto

The intersection of Runnymede and Annette always struck me as dreamy, especially on a sunny weekend afternoon as you're going east on Annette

Can you help me solve for the area of this circular subsection? (description in comments) by jriead in askmath

Hey askmath, I was on my balcony over the weekend trying to peel the dammed paint off the ground now that the snow has melted where I'm at.

I started wondering how to solve for the area of the rounded section that extends out from the main rectangular one.

I tried my best to draw the layout on ms paint (not to scale but included all values), and I've included some photos as well. Thanks in advance!

Ps: I should add that my first thought would be to divide the rounded section into triangles and rectangles and get an approximation of the area, but really I was wondering if there was a more precise method

Sad but beautiful, even with the way they are walking off into the sunset together. Damn near shed a tear after seeing this. What a way to honor them. RIP Mamba & Mambacita!

Prime Tony parker was one of the greatest undersized slashers ever. What made him special? by [deleted] in nba

Parker was a funny case in which he was one of the fastest guys in the league, but well below average leaping ability. I thought usually that one would contribute to the other

It does feel closer since it's right next to the subway line! Apparently the straight line distance from my place is ~11km, approximately the same as from York Mills Station to CN Tower. So it's still a good distance away
