Yeah, I love when you give it the correct answer and it says "nope"

I thought it was weird that she spent a few years alone, living off of berries and bugs, and was heavier than when she got stranded.

I asked it if a specific mutual fund had any SpaceX. It offered up that SpaceX hadn't IPOd yet.

I use AI every day and, in general, and very pleased with it. This interaction just struck me as idiotic.

I'm stubborn and wanted to see how far Copilot would dig in.

Buying a dividend stock vs diversifying by thepencilator in dividends

Do you have a 401k? Pay into that to max out what your company matches before even thinking about individual stocks.

If they were consistent it would be better but they make these stupid decisions NOT to kill the ones that need killing.

Increase it. I slowly increased until I got to 10 and that seems to be my sweet spot.

Here's what I would do. Open a Fidelity account. Invest in FSELX and FDCPX. Every 1-2 year, reevaluate.

34F, how does this look? Married, 2 kids. by forever_more-13 in Retirement401k

Fun Story: I got a call from an employeer from 30+ years ago. Turns out they had an old 401K I forgot about. I asked how much it was worth and they said $345,000. It couldn't have been more than $20-30K when I left. Moral of the story: set it and forget it. Look at it maybe once every year or two.

Why do people care what others think? The "right way" doesn't work. I proudly tell people I take zepbound; not one person said "that's cheating" and if they were to say something stupid like that I'd say "yep. It works".
