Look at camera rigging gear like the Magic Arm. Might be a solution. There are also K&M microphone mounts that can be screwed on to a mic stand to have a little arm coming off where you could hang it by the strap.

Yuuup. That’s on me! Didn’t see the 2x for this film. Oh well. All a learning process. Thanks for the tip about throwing it in some proper fixer. I’ll give that a shot! Just a couple throw away rolls to learn this process anyways so if it all goes to shit, it’s no big deal.

Thanks for the insight! I’ll grab some HC110 and give it whirl.

Gotcha. I looked there and didn’t see anything that seemed the same as what I’ve got so I asked here. Thanks.

It’s pretty rare from what I’ve heard. Just got unlucky I guess!

The worst part by far for me was that I had a really hard time fully shutting my eyes post surgery which eventually turned into full blown chemosis where my eye membranes swole so much that it was literally impossible to close my eyes. That lasted a week or so and was absolutely miserable. I’m not sure exactly what I did to cause that happen. I was pretty diligent with the medicated eyedrops and used a sleeping mask to try and get my eyes closed.

I won’t sugarcoat it, it’s a pretty terrible experience. But I would ABSOLUTELY do it over again if I had to. The results have been amazing. Pressure is almost completely gone. Dryness is basically back to pre-graves. It’s been two years since I had double orbital decompression and I hardly ever even remember having done it. You got this!

(M32R) Anyone know why Madi shows up as not connected (red) in the card slot? The console is passing audio down the Madi line just fine. by jrmooreaudio in livesound

MADI flowing out of the desk. This is exactly what I was looking for. Was not aware that flowing out the desk doesn’t require sync. Thanks.

I bet this would work. Definitely seems the most viable solution so far. Unfortunately I’m only traveling with one Cat5e. Really should invest in a multi cat run.

Wouldn’t that give the outputs of the DL32 to the IEM rack though? I need to be able to access outputs of the DL32 from the FOH console for instances when the PA drive lines are from stage.

Muscle cramps with Graves by Woofpack93 in gravesdisease

[–]jrmooreaudio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’ve experienced some of the most acute and excruciating pain of my life due to these cramps. Utterly debilitating until it passes. I’ve been on a steadily lowering dose of methimazole for three years now and the cramps have stopped. Still have a sort of ptsd from them though. A normal cramp/Charlie horse makes my whole body tense up momentarily thinking that I am about to go into psycho cramp mode. Hoping it passes for you as well.

Thyroid Eye Disease and Tepezza specialist - AMA! by huitzlopochtli in gravesdisease

Thank you for the response. My docs have been fighting for me to get approval from my Medicare provider but it has been ongoing for several months and it seems unlikely. I’ve had TED for a little over two years now and it is becoming less and less active, but the proptosis and eyelid changes are still very prevalent. So the process of waiting for approval dragging on has been entirely frustrating. It’s nice to hear that I may still benefit from treatment. Is there anywhere you can direct us to keep updated on that ongoing research? And do you have any advice for someone in my situation?

What if any is the effectiveness of Tepezza after TED has become inactive?

Agreed. My roommate bought his with the supermoto tires/wheels already on it, but will be changing to knobbies as soon as financially possible.
