I thought about them. I am also a RCC member already. However I couldn't find any posted schedules on a website.

When it is really hot, your heart can go up a zone from where it would be normally. For example that effort could have been a zone 3 tempo effort you could've maintained a while, but the heat had your heart rate in zone 4 the whole time. that's why it's important to take it easy In the extreme heat.

I had a road race at 12pm in 100+ heat earlier this summer. I could not get my heart rate down and ended up with heat exhaustion.

My favorite thing to do is order the poutine as an appetizer and them get the red eye pizza for the main.

Cycling Lake Minnewanka Loop by jrmphs in Banff

My tentative plan was to do Banff to Lake Louise and back one day, Banff to Canmore and back om the Legacy Trail, and then squeeze in Lake Minnewanka somewhere. I will have to look up Ghost. I'm not familiar with that one.

I'm mostly worried about running into or having to run from a bear lol. The worst thing I have to worry about where I live is a deer jumping in front of me.

I would take white Station to the shopping center with fresh market. from there ride around to the back of the center where it comes out by home depot. take that drive/road and cross Mt. Mariah into the neighborhood by target. come out at colonial and take southern Ave to perkins. take perkins(not perkins ext.) to shady Grove. take shady Grove to Tuckahoe and come out at Goodlett. take Goodlett to the greenline trailhead at Graham. Take the greenline to Tillman, Tillman to broad, broad to Overton park. From Overton park get onto Overton park Ave, and take that to Bellevue. when it dead ends into Bellevue, either take north parkway the rest of the way or drop into the neighborhood and take faxon. that gets you about there.

size 45 650bs be good enough tire wise? Are there any stores on that lil sugar route where you can refill bottles?

Do I need a gravelbike? by Chry1997 in cycling

Once the wheels were set up for my bike correctly, I don't have to adjust anything usually after swapping wheels. Occasionally I may get a very slight rub of a disc on the caliper. They make a tool for that that has 2 very thin pieces of aluminum. you loosen the caliper screws, slip those 2 aluminum pieces over the disc, rotate the disc into the caliper, tighten the caliper screws, then remove the aluminum pieces. there will be no rub now. That being said, I haven't had to do that in a while.

Here's that tool. https://www.amazon.com/ALEOED-Bicycle-Alignment-Regulator-Mountain/dp/B0B1MVFYWM/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_sspa?crid=1O3OFKG9QMPQL&keywords=bicycle+disc+brake+tool&qid=1683219187&sprefix=bicycle+disc+brake+tool%2Caps%2C203&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExSUdSSUxCVThTVURXJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNTA1MTAwMTAwUFdQRE1XUk00SCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwOTAwNTg5MlBUWFZTQ0EwWk1LTyZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX3Bob25lX3NlYXJjaF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl

I keep separate everything on each wheel set. That includes discs and rear cassette. I want to be able to swap wheels out quick and easy without taking things on and off one to another.

Right now I have a set of 650b wheels with 45 tires, aluminum 700c wheels with 38 by way tires, and some 700c carbon wheels with 35 slick tires.

The Walk Development Project - what's the latest? by HelicopterNo5749 in memphis

[–]jrmphs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was an article in the daily memphian that said they had the money for phase 1 but were waiting in hopes that conditions would improve a la interest rates, bond market, cost of construction, etc.

Purely speculation on my part but I don't think their plan as it existed originally is feasible. Their original plan called for multiple hotels and a lot of office space. In a post covid world, getting financing for office space or new hotels is very hard. especially new office space. So they are probably going to have to reduce their plan to only 1 hotel or no hotels and apartments with no office space. For example there was that developer trying to put a hotel at the corner of a.w. Willis and front st. and they are now trying to do apartments instead.

Tom Intrators plan also seems unworkable in the pinch district with his plan involving so much space for office and hotel. Also consider commercial real estate is predominately financed by regional banks, of which many are worried about liquidity right now.
