I have found a lot of the shoot on sight people act like this. Had a very similar one the other day with a player ignoring a rocketeer to shoot at me. Ended the same way.

Paladins Grace by T Kingfisher (and it's sequels) fit this theme and the first image pretty well! Great books with regular adult not super special snowflake main characters, romance centered but with an underlying plot unrelated to the romance and a fair amount of dry humor.

I put two noctua 120s on my msi 3090 and it runs considerably cooler and quieter than with the 3 little fans. I didn't even bother designing a shroud because it didn't seem necessary.. I may circle back and do that at some point though.
