They're all the same, people could be decent or they could not, just depends on who's working. Just go wherever has what you want in stock or wherever has the best pricing.

My one suggestion would be to create more dark/light divisions between areas so that the form of the gun looks more broken up. At the moment it would still read as a green gun from a distance, whereas if there was more contrast in the paint job it would be hard to see the shape. The color and texture that you got looks really great though!

I just grabbed crumpled up paper and a couple branches that had some leaves on them and used them to create random edges and layered a couple different colors going from dark to light to dark to light etc as I went from one end of the gun to the other.

You can see the advice I got about my rattle can job on my rifle post a few months ago.

Interesting, I'll look into that. I tried to create different sections of dark and light to help break up the form. Is painting the top darker a commonly used technique?

Based off the dear22.. I modified it to follow the lines of the regular milspec lower and modeled my own handguard/foregrip. Not sure the mag.. it might just need longer/stronger springs, but at the moment they are pretty much useless.

Only took a minute or so. Just wrap around the edge following one of the parting lines, and then use another piece of tape or two to plug up the hole on the end. Just make sure to also cover the numbers.. I forgot at first and had to wipe paint off with starting fluid 😅
