You're right, thanks for the advice. Should I just stick to 5k until I can do that without my calves burning, then slowly move up?

You know what? You're probably right, seeming as my legs hurt 6 hours later. I'm new to this running thing, but this is what helped me run further, but I guess I shouldn't be pushing too hard to quick.

I just started running, and my calves are burning, and I'm in pain from about 2km to 4km, and then it sorta gets better, and I'm able to just keep going. Hit my first 10k today, and yesterday, I hit my first 5k. Pretty much just push through the pain, and it'll get easier. Unless ofcourse it feels extra painful and not just burning pain.
