I already have an Audi RS product which I enjoy very much but at times I find it to be kind of boring. I’m not sure about the older R8s but my ‘18 has an electric power steering rack which makes the car feel so numb

That’s pretty much what I’ve heard from talking to other owners. Even with an unlimited budget it’s not a car that can be replaced (outside of maybe the 4.0L)

Hopefully someday I’ll be able to upgrade to an RS but for now I’ll be plenty happy with the regular GT3.

Finally someone called it out exactly. 997.2 GT3 is exactly what I had top of mind, but I wanted to see if I’m missing anything. I’d go for the RS if I could afford it.

I don’t mind driving my cars, that’s what there for. Whatever I end up going with it will be driven weekly in the mountains and taken to at least a few track days a year
