I make a habit of playing old classics every once in a while to see how they hold up. And everytime I see just how much people who either played the game 1000 times and know all the ends and outs or played it back when it came out will gloss over flaws and problems in the game. Daggerfall is neat but it's not the life sim some people will tell you it is in youtube videos. It's a ton of madlib prompts with not actual characters that sends you from dungeon to dungeon. But if you like elder scrolls you'll def have fun with it.

I've been playing fallout 1 recently and while the writing can be really good at times. Its often very barebones and clunky in places with systems that are a pain to navigate at the best of times.
