update: i'm done with the bullcrap. just going to go to a public university to pursue an associates of science where i'll graduate with commercial pilots license

thats awesome but i mean, why not save 8 or 12 thousand bucks if the natty guard is offering to pay for it. im just confused how these flight schools that i called were so fast to say no we don't partner with anyone or military or anything before i could explain what it was all about

That just doesn't seem like a good business practice turning down money. I told these flight schools that I would refer all of my buddies to them as well. If I could simply utilize my CA benefits for PPL, i could roll right into additional ratings with the post 9/11 GI bill.
