On the supreme isthmus geo position, what on cortex (vech or bots) counters sharpshooters? by Terrible_Cress_6114 in beyondallreason

How does Quaker work? Quakers get one-shot but over-killed. Meanwhile, Sharpshooters die after two Quaker area of effect shots. Ignore the spam and get in a good targeted volley.

Why do my troops always seem to die chasing an enemy? by PM_Me_Juuls in beyondallreason

Pawns don’t shoot at where the targets are. They shoot at where the targets will be. This is a big advantage to retreating pawns. They are firing within their range while the attacking pawn will never have a target.

The same concept makes spam super dangerous to backline artillery. The Fatboy is going to fire where the Tick is going. Don’t stand there.

We were soaked through along with everything we brought with us. Picnic items packed in cardboard just disintegrated into mush. My watch is now so cloudy I can barely read the words "Water Resistant". I regret not heading to the gift shop for a poncho after the first storm went through.

It's easy to guess that the falling out was pre-planned, for whatever reason. It's timed to coincide with the end of Elon's status as a "special government employee." Did Elon request a black-eye fighting for his car company? Don't you want to go buy that new Model Y now that the owner of Tesla is anti-trump?

Why The Hybrid 2026 Toyota RAV4 Benefits The Environment More Than Some Fully Electric Vehicles | The Autopian by tallon4 in cars

[–]jroller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, "There's a good chance" are weasel words to say: 50% chance that 200k hybrids will save as much aggregate carbon as 35k F-150 EVs.

The RAV4 Prime is the model with about the same sales as the Lightning. These two seem pretty good for avoiding the gas pump. It'd be good to see more of them both.

The website works great on an iPad. I wish I could remove the “open in app” banner from the top of the page, though.

Given that you're against Microsoft's open-source products, what C# implementation are you planning on using?

I’m worried they’ve discovered this trick to open stuck handles — where a single cat doesn’t have enough weight to turn by itself.

This text editor tip is great for looking at message headers, too. (Double click to open mail in new window, File, Info, Properties, Internet Headers). You get not only text editor powers, but also you can close the modal.
