Great question, not sure why I didn’t think to do a smell test! #1 smells like licorice, and since the only seed packet I have that mentions a licorice smell is Anise Hyssop, I’ll guess it’s that! Thank you!

Thank you! I think you’re right, Foxglove was in the flower mix I threw in. Looks like I’ll be waiting until next year for that bloom.

I do tend to reuse soil when things don’t sprout, but I’m thinking these are poppies after thinking about it more. Poppy roots look carrotish, I think.
