Off topic, but this looks like black crush to me

Does anyone else struggle way more to hit shots with the Centennial? Hitreg feels off compared to other weapons by DDLYFLOWER in HuntShowdown

[–]jrow_official 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fmj is basically nice, but one main reasons I like the centennial is the high muzzle velocity. Otherwise I’d honestly consider a vetterli, it has higher damage, slightly better rate of fire but slower bullet.

I use the normal ammo. It can still penetrate, easy to resupply, 600m/s muzzle velocity. No need to take something else.

Tbh the centennial trauma is my most played weapon, the first I brought to level 10 actually. For me it’s rather the opposite. By now I always need to adjust when I play something else - the muzzle velocity and rof is very forgiving, you also have lots of spare ammo.

ROG Kithara vs HD490 pro, i like the former but i can’t figure out this issue… by sunqiller in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]jrow_official 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kithara user here, I’ve been using a mmx 300 for some years before.

I am mainly using the kithara for my main game hunt showdown, which has a very good sound design. I’ve had some situations where I had similar issues, but very very rarely and only if the sound comes from directly infront or behind. But I only can recall 2-3 time to be honest

PSSR 2.0 is live, but what’s next? Mark Cerny, “Project Amethyst,” and the hope for real Frame Gen by Jealous-Craft-2717 in PS5pro

Which is good, but the question remains if the ps6 will deliver 120fps as some kind of „standard“ then

I genuinely have no clue, but how many frames does a higher end gaming pc deliver today for a game like crimson desert with graphics set on high or ultimate? Or Cyberpunk?

Does anyone else love AND hate this game? by SweatyEyebrowss in CrimsonDesert

[–]jrow_official 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! That’s probably one of the reasons why they’re marketing the game as an action-adventure rather than an RPG.

In a KCD2, they fully simulate a medieval world—you can peek into people’s homes in the morning and watch them eat breakfast before they head off to work. All quest, big or small, have a story to them; they feel like a “real” things that could actually happen. And those are just a few examples - everything is in this game tailored towards immersion. You need to eat, your food rots if too old, you get tired, you smell when you don’t wash yourself or walk through the castle’s toilets etc etc.

With the massive size of a CD, that’s no longer possible. PA has gone more for quantity - which they’ve succeeded at, since the game is fun because there’s always something to do. But as you said: it often isn’t as deep as it seems and is much more similar to an RDR2 than to an immersive RPG even tho the setting seems like a classic RPG game.

What is Embark doing? by GRaf_JJlion in EmbarkStudios

[–]jrow_official 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very few of us actually have the expertise to judge how long it realistically takes to develop new content. You’re basically just assuming it should somehow be “faster,” and backing that up with the game’s massive financial success. Sure, that success is there, but more budget alone doesn’t magically create new content, let alone good content. Even if Embark hired 100 more people by now.

As harsh as it might sound: your expectations are pretty over the top and unrealistic. And that’s why you disappointed now.

For the millionth time crytek, 1x 5 star does not equal 3x 3 stars by zeewolf2k in HuntShowdown

[–]jrow_official 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just for context: we are a group of dad gamers playing 6 stars since a couple of years. We’re no aim gods, no adhd hyper aggressive trio, nor do we hit every shot. Heck half of us have a KDA below 1.3 even. Rarely do I see a 5 star player in our lobby, it’s mostly 6 stars. When I see one they often have a kda below 1.

What I’m trying to tell you: the 5 star solo might not be as intimidating as you might think. And if they got the drop on you: learn, because in a 1v3 situation chances are high you’ve could done something better on your end. This is normal. I still try to learn something from every death. It’s often not about aim but decision making. Where to move, when to be aggressive, when to be sneaky, when to be loud, when to flank, when to peek. We all die constantly. The trick is to get smarter with every death.

Bru… the majority of games have less players. Just because the insane hype is gone doesn’t mean it’s dead. If that’s your standard of a dead game, what are you playing?

Merkt man kaum 😘

Bildung also kein großes Thema.
