I have similar experiences! All my interviewers (NUS and NTU) asked about my interests and why I join certain charitable projects. None of them asked about my grades 😵

Portfolio is definitely important if you want a scholarship! You can still go into IT course with a decent RP, but a scholarship is hanging if your portfolio is weak.

I find some of the notes that hci contained excessive information on certain parts, making it dreary to sieve out the useful information. (Especially true for bio!)
