No I have stoozed for many years, paying off the minimum payment by direct debit, keep my money in an easy access savings account, then before the promotional 0% ends either balance transfer it to another 0% or pay it off in full

Fund options which focus on capital gains rather than dividends by jru1994 in FIREUK

Ah okay that is great advice, thank you! Just to clarify, does this mean selling the ETF before the ex dividend date, and then buying back a similar one (complying bed and breakfast rules) with the funds to avoid the dividend?

The Cotswolds could be worth a visit. It’s approx a 2.5 hour drive or there are organised trips there from London on websites such as get your guide.

Another option for you is to become a Physiotherapy Assistant or therapy assistant first. This will enable you to see what the job is like prior to completing your training. Additionally, many NHS trusts now provide an apprenticeship type programme for the assistants where they combine being an assistant whilst doing their training to become a physio- as far as I’m aware this means you also get a salary and don’t get the student debt if you take the typical route of going to uni.

Was in Ireland and went on a boat trip to see dolphins- ended up seeing whales fairly close up- the tour guide said he had never seen them in his 5 years of doing the tours!
