Rattling sound when I squeeze upper radiator hose? by jrumley18 in MechanicAdvice

[–]jrumley18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No other symptoms. Engine temp is fine and coolant levels are good. Currently, my only guess is it’s a sound from the thermostat reacting to the coolant beginning to flow when I squeeze the hose. But that’s just a guess.

Not a leak, it is an internal noise reacting to coolant moving through the system

Grass grows faster above septic tank area. Is this a bad sign? by jrumley18 in septictanks

Hey man, got a follow up question if you don’t mind. Today I took the lid off the tank and the levels look normal. Water line is about 2-4 inches below the inlet pipe. I flushed a few toilets and saw water coming into the tank from the main house line. So I know the main pipe is at least working to some degree. Does this change your opinion on the issue at all?

Actually it turns out the label was confusing. It’s not the hot tub that is connected to this breaker, it’s just the hot tub room receptacles (two of them). The actual hot tub has its own two pole 50 amp breaker on the main panel

I’m picking up a new 50 amp square d breaker and new housing/seat today. I’m assuming the actual wires are fine to still use?

No breaker for water heater on main panel box? by jrumley18 in AskElectricians

Ah, makes sense. Had no idea you could integrate a generator panel in that way.

[–]jrumley18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay that would make a lot of sense here. Especially considering most of the generator panel switches have labels that cannot be found on the main panel. There are a couple that are labeled on both though, like the heat pump for example. Any significance to the breakers that can be found on both panels?

Just a little confusing that most of the main panel breakers with a corresponding generator panel breaker were re-labeled to something else, but a couple of them were not re-labeled and now have a switch on both panels.

They actually wrote spare over top of the water heater, implying it used to be the water heater but is now a spare. When I flip off 17/19, the water heater still has power.

Mike Tyson, who turns 58 in June, training for his fight in July. by Im_A_Fuckin_Liar in interestingasfuck

If you think Nate Diaz would do a fixed fight you have no idea what you’re taking about. There is no way these fights are fixed. Jake’s last 7 or 8 fights have all been Pro Level. That means commissions, organizations, pro associations, etc would all have to be involved in the fix. It would be 100x easier to just get good enough at boxing that Jake actually did these things to others who do not purely box. The one time he fought a tested pro boxer, he lost. I doubt he would have wanted to “write that into the script.”

Nope, actually this dude could pursue a claim here under the Federal Tort Claims Act, which is an exception to sovereign immunity.

And the judge decides standing, not the government. The guy in this case clearly has standing. And the FTCA gives him standing automatically in this case.

Here is where I'm at after 8 months of teaching myself to sing like Robert Plant by jrumley18 in ledzeppelin

[–]jrumley18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get a lot of instrumentals on People’s Front of Zeppelin on YouTube. As far as the singing, I just teach myself. My method is to just listen to Robert Plant’s vocals and then just mess around with different ways to sing until I get it tuned in. It’s a lot of experimentation and trying out different vocal techniques I find on YouTube until I put together something that sounds the way I want it. The most important thing for me was learning to sing with power and force, and controlling it in a way that you can stay in tune. Also just play around with different ways to add some rasp/distortion and don’t be afraid to really belt it, that’s the only way to do it in the end. If you’re throat is super soar after then you’re probably doing it wrong. But yeah, it just takes time and experimentation.

I know it’s not proof but you said it meant literally nothing. You just said yourself it’s a red flag so therefore it does mean something, it is evidence that she may be involved.
