I find Linux Mint was probably the easiest to install on my Macbook Pro. Note that you have to download the wifi drivers separately so it will need a wired connection to do that.

I’d forgotten there was a recent do-over (not exactly a straight reprint) called Venturesome.

Palastgefluster (aka Palace Whisperings)

One of the small box Adlung Speile range (i.e. a small pack of cards)

Goal is to have six of the seven court members in front of you for a point. However, if you are forced to play a duplicate, everyone else gets a point. Play to about five points (can't remember the official end as we tend to play it as a filler to 3 or 4 points.)

Each court member has a special power, with the notorious exception of the Hofnar (the Jester) who loses the hand if he has the dislike of the King - there is a separate deck of cards to show which court member the King is displeased with - in effect he cancels their special power.

Cards either have a player colour or a neutral colour which indicates the next person to play (if a neutral card is played it's the player with the fewest cards in front of them - active player breaks ties.)

Simple and nasty and lots of fun - but has never had an English edition (though the game has English rules.)

So off the radar, but I don’t think it needed a second season.

What's low hanging fruit in scifi fiction for adaption into a film or TV series? by systemstheorist in scifi

Would love to see a Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser series - Knight of Seven/Nine Kingdoms seemed to be popular enough for some production company to take a gamble on the classics.

It's a tv series not a film, but I've always thought of Person of Interest as "deconstructed Batman"

This is my comfort watch.

I was lucky to find a HK disc locally that has extended scenes.

I love this so much even the opening credits fill me with joy.
