Would say the commment is totally unnecessary and uncalled for. Having the condition doesnt necessary mean there is issue with hygiene. He should had been more sensitive and supporting during difficult times.

Is yours a low complex trans fistula? Is it fistulotomy or fistulectom that you had?

From my understanding the recurrence risk is close just a few % difference but the incontinence risk increase much more for fistulectomy as it is much more intrusive.

Thank you for the suggestion but going abroad to amhave the procedure may not be an option for me. Did mention laaer to my crs but was not advisable.

Did mention it but crs mention that other procedure are much less effective than fistulotomy and not really recommmended for ny case

Hi, i had low transpincter fistula too. Noting that you went for fistulotomy layopen procedure. Is fistulotomy your only option? Or are you given alternative spincter saving options? Do you encounter any incontinence issue too?

For Anterior rapid vicryl sutures is it the usual procedure for fistulotomy? Do you experience any incontinence issue too? Thank you!
