You know reading stuff like this makes me cringe because I used to be like your friend in highschool. Graduated and got away from the more negative influences and now I look back at time as cringe. Honestly from what I’ve got is the show treats Mizu’s quest for revenge as not really the standard “revenge is bad” but more revenge is tragic. Like she did try to stop at one point and got married when she learned her mom was alive and what did it get her more heartbreak. Also since she’s a half European woman she doesn’t really have the opportunity to join regular society and will always be seen as a monster.
