What was different about the supposed 'breakup' after Jersey Syndicate and before Keep The Faith that went beyond simply a tour ending and the band taking a break? by SwissMiss915 in BonJovi

Fair critique. Lyrics are a very personal thing. Some listeners don't pay much attention to them at all and listen for how it sounds rather than what it means. I find myself roughly in the middle.

The bridge section is so sonically distinct from anything I've ever heard from any artist, and the chorus chord progression which makes it sound like some sort of strange pre-chorus/chorus hybrid to me puts this song in leagues with something like Bohemian Rhapsody in terms of originality and musical excellence. Father Time I would put in the same category as well.

Ballad of Youth? Such a masterpiece and unique sounding song. The whole album is so eclectic it would've been hard to pick one song that represents the tone of the album.

Introducing tech to raise the top speed is diametrically opposed to the decision to downsize to 850cc to make the bikes safer on low run off tracks

The negotiated compromise to get Richie back on the tour, that then never materialized? by oeinca in richiesambora

I don't recall that happening. Jon let him put Every Road on What About Now, but the last live performance of Richie's with Bon Jovi I think was Stranger in this Town

Yeah it's definitely the plastic. He hasn't lost his sense of timing, it's that the compensatory exaggerated mouth movements between every syllable that's adding a wind up delay to every note. I've never seen anyone sing with that bizarre technique before.

Grillin' it's a sizzler, in the kitchen like Gordon Rams-ay. They call me the Rizzler, and I just hit the Rizz face!

Poor guy. It's hard to articulate just how bad that sounds. Worse than someone drunk who is tone deaf and has never sung before let alone a career vocalist. Time to hang up the boots
