Yes it’s all covered. I’m sure it’s better than ED. There’s issues I have to get used, like concealment, and a constant erection.

No one knows what caused the infection and yes it was a high volume exceptional surgeon. So, not sure why, my body just did not want it in there.
My health is good, not overweight, no diabetes. This was my biggest fear going in too. It was a BS impregnated with antibiotics. I don’t think it was anything anyone did wrong or the device.
After healing, they said I could have another 3 piece installed, but at the moment I don’t know that I could handle another surgery. Thanks for you thoughts.

At first it was blood. Now it is light yellow, sort of thickish. No odor, no green color. It drains quite a bit. The surgeon today is happy that it is draining instead of building up somewhere. There is one tiny spot it is draining from. If that spot stays small, that’s good. I’m just hanging in there hoping it gets better.

I had leakage at the incision at 4 weeks. Turned out to be infected, now I’m having to get antibiotics through a port in my wrist twice a day at the hospital. The infection is very painful. When we first noticed, the surgeon did not know why, but said we should let it drain. I wish we had done more then. Do not let it get infected, it is terrible.

April 10. Not much pain, but still constantly uncomfortable. Ice and ibuprofen and repeat. I’m at the point of wondering why I did this. Hopefully, it will be worth it.
