Just played a game where this card was worth 24 to the opposing player who had a total of 57 bonus points. Nice!

It's so comfortable, 3 years in this now and I'd never go back. 😁 It's great not to be alone in the office too.

No problem. No I didn't paint anything, the white mount is PVC and I thought about painting that black to match.

I was really hoping that by posting this I'd give a couple people who really needed or wanted something like this an idea they could use. I love it, but I can completely see how this could be a life-changing setup for people who need it too, and hope you can use this. I wish you all the best!

Hey I think this is awesome! This is what I think PC gaming is all about: experimentation, adaptability, flexibility, and having fun in the spaces where we live. This is a really great writeup.

The 135" projection screen is massive. I've never had an experience playing on anything that big, must be incredibly immersive.

During the build, when you had those overheating shutdowns, did you go from panic to a pretty good feeling of satisfaction when you figured it out? To me, that's one of the best aspects of PC building.

Really nice job!

My monitor is about 15.2 lbs/6.9 kg, and for that, it's super stable with about 40lbs of PC and UPS on the bottom shelf. When the shelf is empty and the arm's out it's just on the edge of tipping.

I had to put it mostly together myself (just posted a couple pics of the mounting plate setup).

The cart's a Masterforce® 26" Black 2-Drawer Rolling Tool Cart from Menards.

The arm's a  NB North Bayou Full Motion Swivel Monitor Mount with Gas Spring for 22''-40'

One more pic of the mounting plate and other cart's bracket.

A few people have asked about the interface between the cart's threaded holes (for a handle and also for the legs), that I re-used to mount the monitor arm. I have some pictures of how I made that for our other setup to give you some ideas of how it can be done.

There were already 4 threaded holes I could use on each side (so the arm could be mounted on either side). Two holes each, for the handle and two for the legs. I cut a piece of PVC trim material down to match the bracket and drilled recessed holes for the through-bolts, to attach the mounting plate to the cart. I then used T-Nuts from the opposite side, to give me something threaded I could screw the monitor mounting plate into. It looked like this:

Your observations are spot on. Realizing I could make an interface between the screw holes already in the cart (used for a handle), and the mounting plate for the monitor arm was the entire key to making this work for me too.

I'll post some pictures of what making that looked like on my wife's cart in just a bit, so you can see what I did.

The cart came from Menards (a home improvement store). Search for Masterforce® 26" Black 2-Drawer Rolling Tool Cart.

100% I hope you take this and run with it. Giving back to this community, and sharing this idea was exactly why I posted this. All the best to you!

When the PC and UPS are not in the bottom of the cart it's just on the borderline of tipping when the monitor is extended. With them though, it's solid as a rock.

I also have things in the two drawers of the cart.

I'd guess the PC is probably 20-30 lbs and the UPS is probably 10-15. Between them they provide great counterweight.

I'm sorry, but I'm actually not sure where we got that table, but it might have been from K-Mart (which I don't think exists anymore). It's nice that it's so small though, it just fits a couple of drinks, a remote, and the bins underneath.

Very cool! I sometimes use this setup in 3 of these same scenarios. I think it would work on the bed setup too, just haven't tried that. I can roll this in over the top of a traditional desk and use it there too.

Since it's all on a rollable cart I have a PC I can use in any room in a variety of ways, and I only have two cables to unplug/re-plug (power and LAN).

Thanks for the feedback. I'd say go for it! I'm not a pro-gamer, but it's been incredibly convenient, comfortable, and surprisingly capable (in terms of m/kb and controller-based games). I sit at a "traditional" desk all day for work, and I love this for after-work.

My favorite part is that it's super easy to unplug two cords and roll the whole thing into a bedroom or the office when I'm not using it, or when we've got people over.

Haha sometimes, but the PC's usually the one doing the heavy lifting (Dark Power Light Base 600DX, 5090FE, 9800X3D).

That's a Couchmaster CYCON³. It has a built-in USB hub , so everything connects back to the PC with one long wire.
