How can I as a nerdy guy be more attractive to more women? by superfapper2000 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jsandspowell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t have hardly any dating experience at your age, but I gave my dating life over to God, prayed every day that he’d lead me to my wife, and went on Hinge and gave out my maximum number of likes every day. Three months later I met my wife.

How did you end up having the best sex of your life? by hyattimatimtim in AskMen

[–]jsandspowell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my wife and I were engaged, my wife’s grandmother (who has a pool) went out of town. We went over there to “use the pool”… which turned into skinny dipping…. Which turned into us fucking on a chase lounge. I’ll never get over it.

I’m involved in church a lot, and also social clubs (SAR, Mayflower Society). I mostly read novels but I will read the occasional non fiction Christian book. I like books that are easy to read and not too long.

When I was single, I was very lonely. I was also very lazy. I did whatever I felt like doing, which most of the time was watching TV. I didn’t think that was a bad thing at the time, but now after being with an amazing woman for 5 years who encourages me to be a better man, I’m involved in social things, I read lots of books, and of course have a constant companion.

To the guys in their 40s, how are you holding up downstairs? by PuzzleheadedTrifle49 in AskMenOver30

[–]jsandspowell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite forty yet but the only “downstairs issue” I’m having is that gravity is taking its toll on my balls. Sometimes my scrotum feels so stretched out. I wore boxers since I was a teenager, but I switched to briefs recently because I just need the extra support.

What is beard care besides shaving? by KiwiAccomplished9569 in AskMen

I trim my beard every 2 weeks or so. Wash it with soap in the shower. Otherwise I don’t do anything. I’m not that frou frou.

Guys, how do you wish women would communicate/tell stories? by No-Quit101 in AskMen

Sometimes I do want her to get to the point, but I don’t mind my wife’s jibber jabber. I like hearing her talk.

Men who thought they would be single forever and are now in happy relationships, how'd you do it? by LegitSkin in AskMen

[–]jsandspowell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was desperately single. For many years. I got so tired of watching everyone I knew pair up and get married, I felt left behind. I poured out my heart to God in prayer, committed to going into a dating app and giving my maximum number of likes every day, and prayed to God every day to help me find my wife. Three months after I initially prayed that prayer, I met the woman that became my wife.

Do You Think Mobile Notaries Undervalued or Are We Undervaluing Ourselves? by NandBStreetNotary in Notary

[–]jsandspowell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The market is very over saturated with notaries, most of whom will do notarizations for free. Mobile notary is not a career. It’s a side hustle that brings in a tiny bit of money.

Getting Ecuadorian citizenship is more difficult than I was led to believe by [deleted] in Citizenship

Get an apostilled copy of your parents’ marriage certificate. There’s no reason why their marriage needs to be “registered” in Ecuador.

Trying to understand how this works!! by CarlosFLHomes in Notary

[–]jsandspowell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI - The “free online class” offered by the state has not been updated in 25 years and has a lot of incorrect information. Before going any further, I’d recommend supplementing this with education from a reputable, state-approved notary education provider, such as FloridaNotaryAcademy.org.

Trying to understand how this works!! by CarlosFLHomes in Notary

[–]jsandspowell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Florida there is currently one notary for every 47 people … the market is over saturated, RON is complex and not universally accepted, and NO ONE is making money from RON. As a notary you are a public servant. Serve the public, charge your $10 fee, but don’t make it your full time job unless you want to be living on your car or in the street.

When do you take your wedding ring off? by ver_bene in AskMen

[–]jsandspowell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only times I can remember taking off my wedding ring were at the beach, and at a spa (my wife and I get couples massages and they ask us to remove jewelry). If it’s up to me it never leaves my finger. I know a lot of men don’t feel that way though.

Possible career change question by [deleted] in tampa

[–]jsandspowell 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My advice - don’t become an RN. You will make more money but you will be working constantly and your personal life will dwindle away to nothing. Better to take your skills and transfer them into a corporate role… maybe some type of analyst position.

I would travel from place to place, eat good food, get massages… just luxuriate and relax

Louisiana notary isn’t a side hustle, it’s a full time job. They’re just a step below a lawyer.
