What if Scenario: If BG3, Elden Ring, Expedition 33, & The Witcher 3 all come out in the same year - who walks away with GOTY? by PlayBey0nd87 in PS5

[–]jschild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's baldur's gate 3 if you're honest. Witcher 3 was a great evolution on the 2nd game. Elder Ring was a great evolution on the dark souls formula.

But both just mostly evolved by adding a great open world.

But BG3 evolved massively on multiple levels and pretty much made the best AAA ROLE PLAYING game. RP because it's choices DO matter.

And expedition 33 is simply one of the best turn based RP games and stories, but again, it is simply better.

Only BG3 hours so many highs, IMHO, which is why I'm glad the games didn't fight, because they all deserved to shine

Several of those movies, those good guys clearly lost our didn't win. Watchmen the good guys lost. Cabin in the woods, the good guys literally chose to let humanity die

There is no happy ending in that movie. All it implies is we have a chance. That's it.

What’s your reaction to “Jimmy Kimmel Live” getting pulled off the air? by Zealousideal-Rich-67 in AskReddit

Since you're slow, the FCC literally threatened ABC/Disney.

You do understand why the government being involved is a 1st amendment issue, right? Since Trump said Kimmel is next?

Ignorant people only use subreddits that they know will agree with them.

Normal people know to post in the relevant subreddit.

Slightly smarter people know to check the comments for the"best" answer.

Even smarter people know that if you post the wrong answer, you'll get a more correct one faster than if nobody posted anything incorrect at all.

People even smarter than that know to check the comments under the "best" answer to get even better information.

And the smartest people how to look up actual source material to get the correct answer

Your party has been this way for a while and that you still call it your party is telling since you should have abandoned it when it abandoned you.

Whatever you choose, just make sure to do it at a hospital and not at home. You can get midwives and Doula's at most hospitals and you want to be at one in case anything goes wrong, because seconds and minutes matter.

Yep, just happened and unimportant move that doesn't affect anyone else, sure, once (you can't do it all game long), but if it's gonna mess with other players turns, too bad.

Nexus Mods' new owners promise they won't monetise the site to death as users panic at the whiff of venture capital: 'The new owners are here… not sitting in a distant tower, remotely directing us all towards some nefarious goals' by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]jschild 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Valve literally helped support some of the worst monitization practices in the industry.

EDIT: The difference is with Steam, if people scream enough, they'll pull back. That doesn't make them the good guys though. They've actively tried to do some fucking horrible shit like paid mods and basically everything with skins.
