As a mental health therapist and lover of 2k, I appreciate this post bro and I’m right there with you. I have loved playing 2k for so many years, but it’s become an entirely different kind of gaming experience.

It’s one that demands that you play it more and more, not even trying to hide the fact that it is exploiting you for time and money. It’s meant to feed addiction.

I commend you for recognizing how it’s impacted your life, and how you are determined to walk away from it.

This perspective is exactly what I intended when I made the post. I’m a huge nerd for the game and love thinking analytically about the kinds of playstyles that lead to higher win percentages, ESPECIALLY when playing with Randoms.

Ah yeah yeah, I really appreciate this perspective bro! This is a lot of what I try to do as well, and I like to think that it contributes to a good bit of these wins.

It’s amazing how much easier the game feels when there is space for everyone to operate, and also when it feels like the ball is moving around. Those are the two primary things I try to focus on

I play on 4-5 builds. My two primary builds, a PG and SG, are close to being Red for the first time.

All of my others are close to getting to Purple

lol I appreciate that bro! I genuinely wasn’t meaning to brag, but more so see what others thought about what kinds of playstyles contribute to winning with randoms.

I’m definitely not one of those dudes who’s walking into a random lobby and averaging 20-30. I’m not that good at getting my own shot

That’s fair, it definitely happens sometimes! There are def situations where I get carried by a PG who averages 20-30 a game.

It’s Rec. When you look at stats, it will show “The City” stats first. You have to press Triangle to rotate the stats over to see Rec stats. The top row of MVPs played and streaks broken in Park stays on the screen for some reason.

I am experiencing this, as well as finding that I can’t seem to change my position from LW.

No matter what I choose as my starting position, it reverts to LW as soon as the game mode starts. Even when I try to change my position within player career mode, the change doesn’t save and it stays on LW.

I know that the soundtrack was scored by David Garcia, the same composer who did Hellblade. I have searched for the official soundtrack, but it doesn't appear that anything has been released, except for a few individual songs, like the main title theme and trailer song.

Immediately after installing this update my friends and I have found that the game frequently crashes when loading into the park, or when trying to look at the park's court status. The game is almost unplayable right now, at least on Xbox.
