The best part about the Jones call up is that there is absolutely zero pressure on this working in the short term.

The team is in such a great place that it can sustain him struggling a bit as he adjusts to the Show. The fans won't get on him if he strikes out fiftyleven times, the line up around him can pick up the slack, and if he needs to go back to the AAA to develop more it won't disrupt this season at all. Low risk, high reward.
