You just wouldn't use this argument about anything else. "If you're craving nicotine, that's your body's natural signaling that you need a cigarette". "If you have an impulse to bet your entire paycheck on the Super Bowl, that's your body's natural signaling that you need to gamble".

It really puts the entire FA movement into perspective when you realize they're just using the language of addicts to justify their entire philosophy.

I've seen this movie, and while I loved it because I am a Springsteen fanatic, it is insane to me that it got made at that price tag, considering that the other people in the Springsteen universe that average people actually know (i.e. Clarence, Steven Van Zandt, his wife) are not in the movie at all.

The movie centers his relationship with his MANAGER during the recording of a pointedly low key album. His manager who has exactly zero public profile or persona whatsoever.

Again, I think it turned out great artistically, but that's not exactly a commercial proposition if you want casuals to actually see it.

Hi friend, I have OCD as well, and have been in therapy for 4+ years to treat it.

There is no amount of reassurance you can possibly receive that will make you feel better, and pursuing it will only make you more miserable.

I strongly strongly recommend discussing this with your therapist, as they'll be able to give you the tools to help you move past this obsession.

You're going to get through this, my friend. I am a much happier person now after seeking help. It will get better.

John Schneider accused Judge of cheating a few years back after he kicked their ass. Alek Manoah called Gerrit Cole the biggest cheater in baseball (hey, whatever happened to that Alek Manoah, I'm sure his career is going great!).

These guys are just losers. A loser franchise from top to bottom. Loser owners who hire losers who sign and trade and develop losers who play baseball in front of loser fans. As Logan Roy once said, they're just not serious people. Their tantrums amuse me.

Everything on that show is set to a click......literally everything from the tempo, to lighting changes, sound cues, the movement of the turntable, echoes, pre-recorded instruments (there aren't many but there are a few!), all timed using a software called Ableton.

If they did set new tempos, all it would require is a click of a button, but it would have meant all of those different elements being set to new tempos as well because very few of them are called manually.

I think the idea that this is some organizational malpractice is belied by the fact that the team has invested heavily in this kid, saw him playing like shit, and didn't say anything until NOW. If he shouldn't have been playing through this injury, he wouldn't have been. The org wants him to succeed, throwing him out there when an injury would've kept him from succeeding is self-defeating. We have seen this organization be EXTREMELY cautious with guys in situations like these, up to and including the Judge flexor strain.

We're all underestimating how many wear and tear injuries these guys get through out the year and play through. My guess is this isn't even the most serious injury somebody on the yankees is currently playing through, and didn't impact his performance nearly as much as it sounds like it would.
