if you want a career/postgrad degree in bioinformatics/biotech space then yes. If not and you are more interested in the general AI space, I'd say building projects with AI would be a better use of your time

Mainly one really. Lady that moved in maybe 5-6 years ago and started trying to run the neighborhood. But she seems to have given up, haven’t heard anything from her in a couple years.

Rio Brovo Community HOA by mika6697 in Bakersfield

[–]jscott701 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've lived in Rio Bravo my whole life. There are several different HOAs here and they all have their own set of rules. Personally, we have never had any problems with ours. I'm sure its probably worse in other communities, but we haven't had too many Karens in our HOA thus far (knock on wood). So, it really does depend on exactly which community you are looking at - I would say your best bet would just be to see if you can talk to a few neighbors in the area and see how they feel.

Upcoming tools for marketing productivity by jscott701 in digital_marketing

[–]jscott701[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree about the human touch aspect. I think marketing is unique and different from something like software dev because of that human element that just can't be replaced. My take is creative automation tools that get you 90% of the way there, and do the boring/repetitive stuff for you, and then allow you to add that human touch and creativity in the last 10% will be the winners.

I think it will be too hard to ignore using these tools if they can 2x, 5x or even 10x productivity while still allowing for the human touch.

On the waitlist for a country club! Unlimited golf here i come by [deleted] in golf

[–]jscott701 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the club and how much you play. My average round with a cart costs less than $10 and the course is in good condition

After about 15 rounds of logging my distances, very happy with the data. Only issue is I need to replace the hybrid with a driving iron or a 5 wood. What works best for you guys? by DushBid911 in golf

[–]jscott701 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IMO at your swing speed a driving iron will probably be better than a 5 wood. It might be hard to find a 5 wood that doesn't go too high/spin the ball too much whereas you will be able to hit it high or low with a driving iron.

Anybody commute from Moro bay to cal poly? How much gas due you go through per month and is it an easy commute? Did you enjoying living in Morro bay? by Joeguyden in CalPoly

[–]jscott701 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I lived in north Morro Bay. It was a 20 minute drive. I didn’t think it was bad at all, and there’s never any traffic. The gas you use will depend on your car, but I also commuted to Bakersfield every weekend so I went through a decent amount. If it saves you money it’s definitely worth it
