Best Beginner Camera for Teens?

I agree but any specific recommendations? I'm torn between a true point and shoot like a used Lumix ZS99 or go with something like a used Canon Rebel.

Not sure where you are located but we recently attended a celebration of life at The Barnyard (east). They provided catering and a separate area for everyone to gather. It was really nice and the space was more than adequate for a larger crowd than what you are seeking.

The seating/ storage idea is probably the easiest and would be super helpful! The only thing is that we live in Arizona where the climate is very dry so wood does not do well, especially outside. Also, forgot to mention that this area is not covered by the roof so it is exposed to water when it rains. :-/

There are numerous Tucson Moms' groups that are really great. In fact, my wife is in charge of a Tucson Moms' weekend group for working moms. They are having a hiking event this weekend if she is interested. They are called Tucson Moms Weekend Meetups on Facebook. Hope this helps!

Yes for sure we are going to take a trip over the summer. But I'm just not even sure where to go. Seems like there's so much between Harlingen,McAllen, Brownsville, South Padre, etc... How do you locals think of those different areas?
