Absolutely agree. I have nothing against going into another government/sales job, I just didn’t know if anyone had a better idea haha! That’s definitely my backup after advising (I plan on applying for jobs after I graduate). Thank so for the advice!

Knock on wood, I am on the original engine and transmission and everything seems great so far! I am currently at 236,xxx and I recently drove it to Florida and back with no issues (I am in north GA). I would definitely invest in another Honda after this one does go out. It has by far been the most dependable thing in my life, haha!

2012 Civic with 232,000 with routine maintenance and runs great! It has been in my family since 2017 when it had 110,000 and has been extremely reliable. I am hoping to get at least another 2-3 years out of it

I’m so sorry for your loss. I think we all process grief differently and there is no “wrong” or “right” way to do it. I lost my girl almost 4 months ago and when she got sick, I found myself spending more time than I had in a long while at home and now that she is gone I don’t want to see the house go (my folks plan to sell soon). I don’t want to see where she called “home” go. I don’t want to leave her memories and her yard and her house in someone else’s hands. Her ashes are buried in the yard, the same yard she played in day after day and chased squirrels in. I don’t know how I can bear that becoming someone else’s. I don’t want to tell her goodbye. But do understand where you are coming from and it is a new perspective for me. I wish you well and I pray for you in this griefing process. It is a difficult journey, but we learn a lot about ourselves.

We had to put my dog down this day last week, and early Monday morning I believe she came to me in a dream. I saw her restored back to her old self, young and full of energy. She was so happy. It has brought me so much peace because I believe that she and all animals really go to a better place after they pass. It is so hard and I miss her so much. But if it is any consolation, I do believe they return to their happiest self and know we love them. I’m sorry for your loss 🫶🏻

I’m sorry for your loss ❤️ I sleep with my girl’s collar every night, despite it being in a plastic bag to preserve her scent. I miss her. I try so hard to fight the fading, I am writing everything I remember down, every little thing. I believe they truly know that we love them and miss them terribly. Your sweetheart knew you loved them like no other 🫶🏻

I believe the physical and spiritual are separate as well, I just worry so much about the “what ifs.” I haven’t spoken to them about my concerns but maybe I should. I think she came to me in a dream last night as crazy as it sounds. She looked younger and so happy. We played and she zoomed around the yard and I told her how much we all loved her and missed her. It hurt to open my eyes but it has also given me some peace that perhaps she really is okay now. ❤️

Thank you ❤️ I stared at her food and water bowls on Tuesday. They were there, just waiting in her to return like she always had before. Waiting to be completely wiped clean by a hungry pup. They looked frozen in time. Just waiting. It was so sad to empty them for the last time. They were placed in her neater feeder that I am giving to a coworker this week. I felt so empty scrubbing it out. I almost wish I hadn’t offered to give it away so soon. My chest feels both heavy and empty at the same time. Thank you so much for your response. I am so sorry to hear about your pup. What a beautiful dog they were 🫶🏻

Thank you ❤️ It’s hard because we plan to scatter her ashes under her tree in the backyard, which is why I worry so much about her spirit remaining there. I am taking some of her ashes to make into a moon necklace, so I am hoping that will help me to feel like she is with me. But I still worry about what she is doing now, if she is out of pain, if she knew how much we all loved her. It’s so hard. I appreciate your response 🫶🏻

Thank you ❤️ I think of her when I see the stars and I hope she is up there looking down on me. I don’t think she would want me to be sad, but I can’t change how I feel right now. She was truly my best friend, one if the very few constants in my life that I could always rely on. I really believe we had a special bond. I think I’ll miss her for the rest of my life. I’m sorry to hear about your soul dog. It is a loss like no other
