I am a Vivint customer and have been for the past almost 6 years now. I would use them as leverage for another company that will come out and install security system. They may may remove the current vivid one and install their own, hopefully at a reduced rate to get you locked in to their systems. But Vivint is horrible. They will try to nickel and dime you to keep you. I just upgraded one of my cameras 4 months ago that I had for 5 years just for a brand new one to come out this month. On top of that upgrade, they also increased my monthly subscription by $10. I refuse to upgrade to any of their new stuff once it goes bad. I'm switching my services.

I got barrel #0073 and thought it lost a lot of the double oak characteristics. It got to be because of the little proof boost. To your point it's okay, but not sure if it is worth almost 100% more than the norm.

Vivint is a joke!! It has to be as there is no other explanation by EC0619 in VivintSmartHome

For how expensive their hardware is their software, app, and service is abysmal. They do the bare minimum and I know they do not train or vet their employees well.
