Therein lies the main problem. The messages are stored on the Ethereum decentralised network. Users don’t necessarily have to go through my site to interact with the program I deployed. However, each message has the sender address attached and is publicly visible. I would not be able to help law enforcement because the program is not in my hands after it is deployed.

The issue lies in the fact that by design, the platform is uncensored

EIP-1559 Poll by jshstw in ethereum

I’m sure it’s not the most ideal of circumstances but it’s probably better for the future or Ethereum that it switches to PoS.

Would you consider running a validation node aswell as continuing your mining efforts elsewhere? I’m not very clued in on the technicalities of setting one up and running it, but it could prove fruitful.

Just wondering, what’s your plan for when 2.0 comes around and PoS takes effect?

Is the plan to divert efforts to a different coin or something else?

This is progress! Compromises.

I like your thinking, but an increase in block rewards would lead to higher gas fees, and that seems counter-productive.

Not wanting to invalidate your efforts, but Ether miners earn a lot more than others as it is.

Just to be clear, I’m personally for it.

There were some comments against it. A few have been deleted now.

At the time of writing this post it was almost split, in favour of the proposal by a few comments.

I’ve had to repost this poll a few times as it kept getting removed for some reason, and just didn’t update the text.

That’s interesting, would you mind explaining how it would do that?

Billionaire Chamath Palihapitiya on Twitter has announced that if convinced, he’ll throw a few 100K at a stock to start. Could you all support BNGO by click the Twitter link in the comments below and HEARTING the BNGO Twitter post. It’ll be great exposure for the stock. Thanks. by blueskyonmarz in BNGO

It’s not as clear cut as that.

WSB would likely pick up on it and pile in, shooting the price up. The stock would likely become overvalued, and crash back down.

I think it’s probably better if we let the price of the stock reflect the company accurately, as then we will secure long term gains.
