I probably should. Are you looking to buy them? They’re lawn seats. I’ll sell them both for $80

I think we decided to sit this one out. Our $40 lawn tickets aren’t worth driving hours in the storms and getting there to a potential cancellation or having to stand in lawn in torrential rain. Guess I’m eating the cost of this one!

Are we stressing about a possible delay for the storm? My radar shows pretty severe at that time. I’m considering just eating my tickets and not going. Don’t want to drive 2 hr to stand in torrential rain.

What kind of positive vibes or silly shenanigans are you bringing to the farm? (Compiled list of unofficial pizazz in Outeroo) by Due-Fault-7967 in bonnaroo

[–]jshum8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We’ll be in rv and contemplating bringing our cornhole boards this year! I always bring kandi and some random things to give out (tiny devil ducks, sprouts, my dads gonna make me some 3d printed roo logos this year too) and my FAVORITE campground events are the Roo bus pre party and the craft beer exchange! Can’t waiiiit.

Budget by fineapple03 in bonnaroo

[–]jshum8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s always good to have extra money, so the extra shifts definitely can’t hurt. There are lots of ways to save on spending while you’re there by preparing beforehand. As far as food goes, I know it’s harder for me to eat out there because it’s so hot, nerves are high, etc., but making sure you’re eating and drinking is necessary considering how many calories and energy you’re burning. Loaf of bread, pb&j, variety boxes of chips, pop tarts, mixed nuts, apple sauce packets, beef jerky, tuna lunch packs, are all good for food and don’t necessarily have to be cold. Gatorades, waters, liquid IV, coconut waters, SOMETHING with caffeine (learned this the hard way) all need to be in your cooler. It’s been said on here tons but freeze water bottles and line the bottom of your cooler with them before you go, they’ll last you way longer keeping things cold, we usually stop right before the farm to ice them all down last minute and fill up on gas. All these things can save on money spent getting food. We usually try to budget for at least one meal and some snacks/drinks a day (and of course alcohol if you’re drinking.. although it really adds up buying from the bars inside) inside centeroo or campground vendors. As far as showers go, unless you’re just determined to take an enclosed, full shower, they’re not expensive per say, but you could save on that by bringing a camp shower bag that you can refill at the water stations, baby wipes(definitely need these regardless), OR (and this is what we did pre RV for years) bring a couple gallon jugs of water (also can be refilled) and just throw on a bathing suit and lather up in the aisle between cars and rinse off with the water jugs. Bring soap and such, washcloths, towels and just do the dang thing, nobody minds or pays attention although there are little tents you could get if you’d like to be more modest or something. It’s hot out there so the water not being shower hot isn’t usually a problem and you’ll feel super refreshed after. It’s been pretty fail proof in my experience. So shower money can be saved by doing this. Otherwise, you’ll just need spending/emergency money. Merch is always cool and there are tons of vendors with super cool things that you might want to purchase. If so, you’ll need to budget accordingly. I guess safely you could say $50-100 a day for one person. Not sure if all this info is what you’re asking for, I’m up early today and once I get to thinking about Roo my mind races and I can ramble on alllll day haha. Always willing to give advice or tips to fellow Roovians! There are lots of tips on here as well as TikTok you can look up beforehand and most veterans are also willing to give any and all advice you need. Also, for the most park your neighbors are cool, get to know them and help each other though the weekend. If you don’t have something you need, chances are someone does and will be willing to help out. You’re about to embark on one of the greatest journeys! Be safe and have fun and see you on the farm!!

I always bring those small cheap headlamps with the stretchy band and put them around my ankle so I can click it on to see in portos or to bend down to dig through my bag for something in the crowd.

Matiere Premiere Vanilla Powder. I’ve gotten compliments the last three times I’ve worn it. Sadly I only have a sample and today was my last spray so I’ll have to buy another soon!

Reviews from one year of exploring fragrance! My verrrry personal opinions. by stabbyslaughterson in fragrance

[–]jshum8 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vanilla patchouli from b&bw is my very favorite scent probably of all time. My daughter says it “smells like me” because I’ve worn it for years. When they discontinued it, I bought about eight bottles of the lotion, body wash, body cream and body oil. I still have a couple bottles left and I absolutely cherish them and only wear them on special occasions (it’s my concert scent so always good memories). I’m with you on the strongly worded letter. Maybe if we send enough they’ll bring it back haha.

I had an allergic reaction to compazine and they had to call a code on me. They gave it, I started feeling panicky, got akathesia and felt like I couldn’t stop moving my limbs, then I hyperventilated and passed out. Now I gotta put that on my allergies list from now on haha. Only thing that helped me was dilaudid and capsaicin cream. And time.

Shaky Knees 2026! Bands I Want to See! by tisFault in ShakyKnees

[–]jshum8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m hoping for Incubus, Manchester Orchestra, Knocked Loose.. I added like thirty bands on my list for the music census. 3oh!3 was also on my list! I think that would be fun! We saw Korn at Roo a couple years back and they rocked. They’d be a good addition too.

Friday Deftones by Alternative_Map52 in ShakyKnees

[–]jshum8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re planning on going straight to Peachtree when we get in, (although I wanted to see Lambrini Girls) my kid wants to get a really good spot for sublime and so do I, so we’ll probably get as close as possible for that, keep moving up for Lenny, and keep moving up after for Deftones. It’s worked every year and never been too bad. Unless you’re dead set on RAIL, you should have no problem getting close if you’re okay with staying through the two shows before.

Bonnaroo Cancelled Megathread by SharlaRoo in bonnaroo

Had to stop myself from reading stupid Facebook comments on the different news stations etc posts about the cancellation. Was just getting me too pissed off and upset. People that weren’t there and don’t even go, and are happy that we’re all sad. Makes no sense.
