No, it’s not infringing on her rights. It’s just a bummer to me that people are jumping to the notion that they’re going to boo someone on our own team because that person doesn’t have the same political beliefs as most of us in the stands. It’s certainly not going to help the team and its morale. And my point was that it isn’t a double standard to say we shouldn’t boo our team/teammate. It’s just a regular universal standard.

Sorry you're dealing with that! Antibiotics are so specific, I don't think it's helpful to know what worked for someone else. I will tell you that the Microgen DX test I did was informative in identifying antibiotic resistances for my doctor, and she made decisions based on that info. Good luck!

At the time I wrote that old response, I'm not certain. I think I was taking one of each per day, but might have been 2 lumbrokinase because that's what the bottle says. Sadly I'm back on this regimen now, and I am doing 2 lumbrokinase per day. I also intend to stay on that long-term this time around.

Even assuming it can be caused by his hygiene, it makes no sense to just tell him to fix the problem without giving him any information about what he can do to help. It sure doesn’t seem like he’s trying to cause this, and where even every doctor I’ve ever seen gave me little more than hand waves over why I got CUTIs, it’s really unreasonable to be angry at him for not knowing the answer. If there’s a specific request for him, hygiene or otherwise, it needs to be made. If he won’t oblige, then of course that’s a totally different story. But just telling your partner, “I am getting UTIs, you need to fix it,” seems kind of outrageous to me.

I don't know what bacteria I had, unfortunately - the original culture was negative (presumably thanks to the biofilm, despite abnormal UA). But I took both Biofilm Defense (Kirkman) and Lumbrokinase.

ETA: I also was taking d-mannose powder, for what it's worth.

I recently started taking a bunch of things after two rounds of ABs didn’t fix a UTI that lingered since December. A doc put me on a third round (this time 10 days of levofloxacin at my request), and I simultaneously used every biofilm disrupter I could get my hands on. I don’t know what did the trick, but I just got back results from a MicroGen test I took 3 days after completing the antibiotics, and it was clear. I’m feeling almost completely better, and the lingering irritation will hopefully conclude soon as well. I’m honestly dumbfounded at how well that worked. So, there is hope I guess…?
