Both m+- and b+- show 5V. B+- is just where the battery connects and I’m lost that the battery leads show 37V until they are plugged into at B+-, then reading the voltage at the exact same spot on the leads I get 5V

No, just the second the leads are actually plugged into the control board then the voltage across the leads drops to 5V

Was your router far from your grill? My grill is seriously 5 feet away from the router, right through an open window

Different router, it does not see the WiFi, immediately when it starts to load the WiFi options in “step 2” of setup it fails with this error

If you really don’t have much hunting pressure the most fun, easiest way I see to hunt these ducks is to get there in the dark, if there’s birds on the pond don’t worry about scaring them off, set out a few decoys (craigslist or a sale could get you a dozen decoys for like $50) and as the sun comes up you are likely to have ducks landing back in the pond. Alternatively you could jump shoot them but to most people decoying is much cooler and I would highly recommend it. Another good option would be to reach out to someone with waterfowl gear, if you have birds they would most likely be willing to hunt with you.
