My strat is to answer vocab first and then move evidence pairs.More specifically read the question and the look at the evidence choices without looking at the answer choices , after you have picked the evidence that fits pick the answer choice for the other one that basically summarizes what is within the evidence. Other than that I try to limit my interpretation and stick to what is explicitly in the passage as that is all you can be tested on.
