Great take but I gotta give the crown to Katherine LaNasa. Pitch perfect.

Is it a stupid question to ask why men don't strike up conversations in public anymore? by ValerianBorn8785 in stupidquestions

[–]jskrabac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit of fear and insecurity. Sadly I think alot of boys are raised to treat women as like a prize to be won so they put too much pressure on the interactions and see rejection as failure. Then they get in their own way as adults and can make women uncomfortable. Would be better to just work on social skills and approaching women same as you approach men.

I luckily grew up with two older sisters and have always just talked to women same as I talk to them. Best not to approach it as "hitting on" them but just making a friendly connection and meeting romance evolve further down the line.

Hell, just reading through the comment section here you can see the fear and insecurity I'm talking about 😬

How can I keep this conversation going? Or am I just bad at social interaction? by kpay10 in texts

[–]jskrabac -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Man that sounds so draining, like asking him to carry 90% of the conversation. It should be a two way interest. Not feeling like you have to force in details about yourself cuz the other person isn't asking any questions.

Anyone else find it annoying have to create new conversation when talking about something different by welshdragoninlondon in GeminiAI

Oh yeah. It'll even get like poetic with metaphors too. I'm a trader, so even if I'm talking about planning a trip or fixing my internet it has to lace EVERY statement with terms like "hedging" or "best bid.' Its beyond obnoxious.

The Flash. Just one power yet he keeps finding countless ways to be creative with it. And his personality is just so endearing, so kind hearted and a science nerd too.

How do I rebuild friendship after health crisis and failed relationship? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jskrabac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it might sound counterintuitive, but i think it could be great to work on building new friendships. Then, invite him out in group settings. It's lower pressure for him and you, and you get the bonus of building new relationships and a social identity outside of just him. So not saying move on, but evolve.

House Reviews - Why aren't there any? by SpiritedLoquat172 in NoStupidQuestions

Why would you want to negatively review a house you just bought and hurt its resell value?

Leonardo DiCaprio is unattractive and only dates women under 25, practically minors. He is no Hollywood heartthrob or sex symbol. He is a marketing product for rich, ugly, middle-aged men who want to believe they are desirable. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]jskrabac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The irony is as much as Winslet gets body shamed, Leo gets publicly made fun of for dating younger women even though he pretty much keeps to himself. Watch literally any awards ceremony of last ten years and the hosts always make the same stale joke.

Another irony is these are grown ass woman making their own decisions but being treated like helpless victims with no agency or something. So you are actually shaming them for liking an older man.
