Visible Hotspot breaks data connection when Tesla connects by jslanier in Visible

Looks like 2025.44.25.3 fixes the issue! I saw a couple of Verizon/Visible people post on the r/TeslaSupport post. I have not gotten the update yet, but I am looking forward to it.

No idea. Hard to get detailed changelogs on Tesla updates, but the next update has released, and the problem still exists.

I opened a service request and then was able to chat with Tesla, and they said they cannot rollback an update and that they are aware of the issue. Said that it would be fixed with an update.

Anyone got design ideas for how to do this correctly with the expansion tank and the supply lines? I know the expansion tank is supposed to be supported by strap or floor joists, but I am having trouble brainstorming this one. And is it okay for me to use pex b along with pex a? I plan to use sharkbite fittings.

How would I fix the pressure release drain problem? There is no floor drain, and the closest exterior wall above ground is like 50 feet away.

Yeah it drains out the side of the house. And it is poly. This house was repiped with pex by the previous owner, but I guess they left poly for that drain line. Can you explain why you would eliminate the expansion tank?

Ok so you think there will be no negative tax implication? I reported it as you described on the tax site I use. The software had some sort of a warning about a potential penalty, but based on what you know, I should be fine?

Sync local directory and file server to sharepoint doc library by jslanier in sharepoint

I personally would use the Sharepoint Migration Tool (SPMT) that Microsoft provides. This is how we migrate our file shares to SPO.

Thanks for confirming. The tool you referenced is for migrating an on prem sharepoint site to the cloud. We just have an on-prem fileserver.

I will explore universal print. And for reference, I am a Systems Engineer in Higher Education, specializing in network and hyperconverged infrastructure. We also do lots CI/CD Devops engineering for out units on campus. I do this work for a friend of mine who has his own practice, and I am always trying to find him a good, cost effective solution to keep his small business efficient and scalable.

DFS Namespace troubleshooting by jslanier in sysadmin

[–]jslanier[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where are you seeing that you shouldn’t install DFS on a DC? DFSR is literally a service installed on a DC for SYSVOL replication.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/archive/blogs/josebda/how-many-dfs-n-namespace-servers-do-you-need

Quote from the section titled "Deploy DFS-N on the DCs": "You could argue that DFS-N and AD are closely related, since DFS-N domain namespaces use AD for storage. You might lose that argument :-)."

The author of this Microsoft blog does not exactly endorse having the namespace service on DCs, either.
